Welcome!
My name is Kanina Terry and I'm the web developer at K-Net in Sioux Lookout. I build websites for the different department within Keewaytinook Okimakanak and also websites for companies and organizations in the area.
This course will be presented to you in a number of chapters, each chapter will have a short 1-2 minute video to go along with the lesson. You will be expected to follow the steps I've taken in each chapter and video.
In this course you will learn how to use a web platform called Drupal. Drupal is a content management system (CMS) which means online content can be managed online without needing any external programs such as an HTML editor or FTP program. Its a great way for people to manage content who don't have extensive web experience.
What I will not be getting into is any programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP. We don't have the time to cover any of that, but if any of you have any interest in that let me know and I can point you the right direction. I find that is the fun stuff!
